The firm’s real estate team provides standard drafting and negotiation support, and advises clients on real estate financing transactions, project finance, mortgage schemes and other property acquisitions.

The team has advised many clients on the acquisition, financing and construction of real estate projects in Nigeria. Many of these projects required advice on the regulatory framework for developing the properties, procurement of the relevant approvals and establishment of the project companies, as well as extensive due diligence to determine the ownership and proprietary rights in the properties.
